Creating Your First Session
Now you are ready to start creating sessions! In Mind Reaper, there are two ways to adjust parameters such as fade, volume, and other effects- automation and MIDI items. Sometimes you will be using both on the same track, so you should learn both.
Automation is the same process you used to set your entrainment path- adjusting control points along a timeline. MIDI items use blocks of media that can be moved around, shaped, and duplicated.
Using Item Blocks offers many advantages to automation. Fades are a snap, and blocks can be easily split and moved. FX can be applied just to one area of your session. They can even be copied and pasted into another project.
